Nkosana Samane is a South African Actor who was born and raised in Kwa-thema East Rand side of Johannesburg. His passion for stage performance started in 2008 at high school (Tlakula high) where he got a chance to participate on the Love life Generations youth connection.
He then attended part time poem and drama classes at iSibikwa Art Centre in Benoni, and started participating on many community theatre projects including The Brixton Theatre company in 2011.
He started the journey of screen Acting in 2012 ,where he attended many Acting workshops including Duma Ka Ndlovu's classes called The DNA at SABC and Dorothy Gould, where he learned a lot about the difference between the TV and theatre performances.
In 2013 he took a break from the entertainment industry. Nkosana went to Ekhuruleni East College to pursue his Electrical Infrastructure studies where he obtained his Level 4 Certificate.
On his first year at the college he started a campus drama group, he auditioned and selected few students whom he will teach how to perform, he used lunch breaks and after school times to rehearse, and the college supported and assisted him with his idea of taking part in the compus sports and art and culture, because his group won the competitions against other campuses.
In 2016 he went back to the industry and started attending auditions . He was motivated by his first advert for SABC promotion called TV and life are one,then ever since he never looked back.
He played a character of Skhumba on a movie called Romeo and Romeo for Mnet and did adverts meanwhile on the other side he studied part time at The Market Theatre lab. He was also selected at Wits by drama for life for a program called Mvuso, teaching high school students Drama. He worked with students from badirile high school in Soweto and his school won position 2.
He is a hard working actor and loves what he does.
